The GoBag - the first thing you want to do when you get your GoBag is put a dozen zip lock bags in it, to compartmentalize and waterproof your gear. This also protects your gear when you use the GoBag to gather supplies from the field like fat wood, food, etc... The string (made of paracord) draws to close the bag and makes a strap for over the head, on the shoulder, under the arm carry. The bag stores flat, wadded up, rolled up, how ever you want into a very small space and adds very little weight to your pack, so carry at least 2 GoBags at all times! 1 for gear and gathering, and the other for a pillowcase, bear bag, trash bag, the GoBed. GoBags can be used for many things.
